In our modern day this is an outrage and ought to be made more known. Racism is obviously not dead in America so we need to keep fighting for racial equality
this is not even right. there is no way a black person should be put to death for being black. lets go to africa and be put to death for being white its the same thing
We are created equal and it doesn't matter what color you are if you get put to death for a crime for what you did you deserve it and should get punished for what you have done.
Being black isn't any different then being white I think we should all be treated equally. No matter the crime. A white person should not be treated any differently than a black person.

I agree that nobody chooses what skin color they are and it should not affect them and get them killed. Racism really needs to end but it will take a very long time for it to.
this issue is horrible. People that are black should be treated exactly the same as white people. There is no justification for a black person to have a better chance than a white person of receiving the death penalty. Our Judicial and punishment system is messed up and needs to be looked at a little closer.
well i guess statistics dont always lie but i mean is it really that BIG of a deal between the death penalty or life in prison? and im sure that most of the cases that go to life in prison should of gotten the death penalty anyways.
If your gonna use the death penalty, you have to have the same penalty for everybody whether they are black, white, chinese, man, or women. If the penalty for a certain crime is death then it has to be the same for everybody.
