  1. This seems perfectly okay to me. If an inmate is serving time in jail and they have nothing else to do they should work for the companies. They are getting paid and it will help pass the time, better than just sitting in their jail cell.

  2. I think if they are having good behavior and not fighting they should get alittle freedom an be aloud to work for the jail.

    1. I agree with this because as long as they have good behavior they should get all the freedom they want.

  6. I would propose setting a minimum wage for jail mates separate from the national minimum wage so that they could be distinguished from the law abiding citizens. I don't believe that a money launderer or a murderer should be able to make the same amount of money as me but they are still US citizens and deserve a few rights.

  7. I agree with that one girl. They should be able to go out & make money but they better be on good behavior. Because then they would think they can do whatever they want & commit more crimes.

  8. I think good behaving non violent crime inmates should beable to pay for the time they are serving themselves because u have to pay a fee every day ur in jail so i think they should be able to work for the time they are doing

  9. let a man work if he wants to but only if they have good behavior... but they should atleast be in prison for at least 6 months before they can do anything.. just because they didn't get sent to jail to work they are there to serve there time.

  10. if they have proven to be non violent. why not let them work and try to earn a little money so when they get out they have somthing instead of nothing. if they have nothing they are just gonna go bak to what they were doing before.

  11. I think they should as long as they are good and following rules. But they will need to keep these prisoners on a very short leash.

  12. I think using prisoners for labor is totally okay. They have nothing better to do so might as well have them use or gain skills to help everybody else. I am think that the little pay they are receiving is enough. They have nothing to pay for so they do not need the money, we are basically paying for everything of theirs.

  13. I truthfully think that this is a great idea. We have a ton of people in jail that dont have to do anything. if we are able to make them have something to do like work we will be able to pay them very little meaning that the price of the products could go lower making it a plus for shoppers.
