  1. I agree that some statistics do differ because of race and different levels of education. In my opinion, I think the parent's verbal punishment is more effective than physical punishment. That is probably due to the fact that I rarely get physically punished unless it's a smack on the butt.

  2. I agree that some races obviously have different opinions and rules one what they can and cant do with punishing their kids. I think that you should always punish your kid if they do something wrong. Thats how they are taught right from wrong but i do think there is a line between punishment and abusing. A couple slaps on the butt is whatever but using a stick or slapping them in the face or anything like that is going way to far. Parents are going to raise their kids how they were raised and if their parents beat the crap out of them they probably think that its okay, but we dont live in the 1980s anymore and people need to take that into consideration.

  3. I think that depending upon what they did to deserve the punishment should judge how much they are punished, in my opinion if they do something that defies the rules that whoever incharge should be punished accordingly.
