  1. Yes it's very true your rep can be gone like that even your respect drops with it

  2. Yes that is very true cause most people only remember the bad things you do in life and if your a respected person people will look for a way to wreck your reputation.

  3. I think this statement is very true. You can do everything right and be praised and looked up to for the good things but one bad thing happens and all the good is forgotten

  4. How long does it take to repair your reputation after it has been damaged?

  5. I don't think you can ever fully repair your reputation becuase people always remember bad decisions you have made.

  6. I think it takes a while to get it back unless it sticks with you the rest of your life then your just better off moving and starting somewhere else

  7. Your rep is very delicate. it needs constant maintenance, and it can be hurt very easily. repairing it can come at great costs to you and people around you. it has to be built, but it also reflects your choices. you make good choices, a good rep but not easily remembered. have a bad rep, made by bad choices, you will be remembered and reminded of it the rest of your life.

  8. Everyone remembers the bad things, few remember the good.

  9. I think that reputation is like a broken bone. It happens quickly but takes months to fully heal back.

  11. I believe that you can destroy your reputation very quickly but it all depends on what you do. if you have a really good reputation it will take a lot to destroy it.

  13. That is very true it can take 20 years to make and 5 minutes to break because everybody usually remembers the bad decisions you made or choices never the good choices or decisions. You probably can try to repair it but it may take longer to fix.

  14. You have to live your life by trying your hardest to think before you act, think of what will happen if you make this decision because it's really hard to build your reputation back up.

  15. I think that many times once a tiny bit of reputation is destroyed it is hard to build it back up again. People don't forget the one mistake you made many years ago.

  16. i think its not only reputation. if you save a bunch of money over 5 years and gamble it away in 2 hours at a casino. you just have to think and react the best way possable.

  17. we as a society must not be very forgiving.

  18. I do agree with this statement. No matter how good or high your reputation is it can be ruined in seconds by the simplest or smallest stupidest act ever.. and then it can take you years and years to build your reputation back up.

  19. I think that once your reputation is ruined...you never really build it back up. People always will remember the dumb things you do...

  20. A reputation is a fickle thing that can be ruined by the slightest of mistakes, as perceived by society. A ruined reputation can also cause physiological stress.

  21. I think this statement is very true. You can do good things all your life and you could make a mistake once and suddenly everyone will look down at you for whatever you do. You may gain some respect back but it'd be really hard to do so.

  22. It is so true. You say one thing out of line or do one thing that is considered bad and thats it the rep you built is destroyed. But really if you want a good rep you can keep it. Its not that hard. Stay Classy ACGC

  23. I agree with that statement. Social Media has made it easy for someone to ruin his/her reputation by posting something online.

  24. So we all agree that it can easily be ruined

  25. Your reputation is all about how people see you and it can be broken even if you do something that you know is right but someone else thinks is wrong. How are we supposed to maintain a good reputation if we are not sure how everyone else looks and feels about what we are doing?
