My definition of reality TV is a show/series about a person's life and their problems, usually of the upper class society. I believe it can be harmful because it doesn't show you what living in the middle/lower class of society is like. And usually the people watching reality TV, are of the middle or lower class. It creates an image of what your life could be like- if you made millions of dollars a year.
My definition to reality TV is people in real life situations and at home doing their normal daily things but also like game shows because thats real life situations and they arent scripted. Pretty much things that arent scripted. Yes because its full of drama and i think it is more harmful to girls because they watch it more and if you watch it all the time you begin to start acting like it.
i agree with this opinion, reality tv can be harmful if you let it effect how you think, and it effects girls more because they get more into the show and attached to it
What I consider reality TV is a bunch of over privileged people saying how hard their life is, a bunch of rednecks doing stupid shit, false survival shows, or faked romance shows. I think it's harmful because most of the people that watch reality shows start to think that's how to act or whatever. The TV shows only really show what upper class people do or they just show really stupid people doing even stupider stuff. Reality TV, in my opinion, is usually for people that want more in their life or just want 5 minutes of fame. (i.e Teen Mom)
Most of the reality tv/series these days are edited and consist mostly of drama. I can see how people watching these shows all the time would begin to feed of the drama and starve for it in there own lives.
i agree with him, the tv shows make it seem ok for us to go out and party and do stupid things that is only gonna end up bad, this is a big problem considering how much tv children and teenagers watch
