  1. on facebook and twitter you can put privacy blocks on your profile and can hide yourself but that doesn't really stop a bully bulling you over the web. they can always go on someone else's profile and bully you from there. just be careful who you add on facebook and twitter.

  2. I totally get that social media makes it easier to bully kids nowadays. You can put privacy things on your sites but only to a degree. With texting, if they get your number they can continuously text and harass you. Changing your number all the time would just be a pain.

  3. I guess you could make the argument that these sites give bullying more power, but it's not like you cannot block people on these sites. You can control what people say on these sites, so I believe that it really doesn't give bullys more power.

  4. I think these sites do give bullying more power. Some of the stuff I see on these sites honestly scares and disgusts me. When people are online they feel empowered and that can definitely lead to bullying.

  8. facebook and twitter probably do make bulling other easier because your not directly saying it to their face and you might not think you will get caught if your using a false name.. you just need to be careful on what your posting.

  9. Yes I think that facebook and twitter both have many bullys posting things about others on them because its so easy to make fake profiles and to pretend to be someone else.

  10. Yes because people think they can "hide" behind a screen and think they can say whatever they feel. No, words hurt. A lot.

  11. yes. it is by far easier to bully a indivdual over social media because you can 24/7 contuine to tourment them without any concent of say from anybody.

  12. It gives another medium to do something like this however it's the same as in real life where people bully each other or defend themselves. People often set themselves up by posting stuff they know would be controversial or bully provoking.

  13. I think it does give people more power for bullying because they are hiding behind a screen and can say whatever they want and kids can be hurt by that

  14. i would have to agree with him because its easier to talk behind someones back but when it comes face to face its not, basically just like sitting behind a screen

  15. Yes, Facebook and Twitter give bullies more power because they can bully people and delete their posts so nobody knows what they are doing and it takes some effort to actually find out what the bullies are doing to the people that are being picked on. So I agree that you have to watch what you put on Facebook and Twitter.

  16. It does give bullies more power. They can like others said get your number off of facebook and twitter and they can harass people that way or they could harass people on the sites you can block them and make it hard for them but there are ways around that.

  17. Its the users ability to abuse the social media system it is not the social media app. just like its a gun holder that kills something not the gun
