I live in a 2 parent household and my mom is the mainly one who punishes or lays down the law. But they treat me as an adult so i really don't get punished anymore.
I am currently living in a two-parent household and have for my entire life. When it comes to discipline, I think my dad makes the big decisions because he has the most pride and the biggest ego.
In the life of Mr GOML, Daddy GOML was gone at work most of the day. So Mommy GOML was able to handle any of the punishments. Until Daddy GOML got home and than BOTH Mommy and Daddy GOML would come up with a more long-term punishments. The worst being a deadly spanking.
In my household my dad is more laid back but my mother cares more because she finds out more of the stuff that goes on outside of the house unfortunately
Living in a two parent household I have experienced punishment from both parents but it comes in different forms where my dad would rather ground me my mom used to spank me but that was long ago and now I don't really receive punishment except from the worst which is getting my keys taken away
when my parents were married my dad had the more disapline then what my mom did. and now that they are divorced my mom kinda stepped up to the plate more but sometimes when i get out of hand she will call my dad and tell him to come over and talk to me or come get me so she doesnt have to deal with it anymore. i would say both my parents are equal.

i have two parents that i live with. the mother i live with is the person who gives me pusnishments depending on what i did. Why? well becaquse iv known this person pretty mush my whole life. she is not my biological mother but she is a mother to me and she dose a pretty good jobh at it.
