    1. This is a rather extreme view. I cannot help but disagree with it. The bad things that come from facebook are due to user mishap, not problems with the site itself. Also, if you dislike it, you certainly do not need to use it.

    2. i would have to agree with jerry. if you dont like it dont use it. there is a lot of beneficial stuff from facebook also, stuff that cant be taught with out being on facebook.

  3. I think its a good thing for people to communicate but there are some immature people who start drama on there..

  4. social networking is good and that people like to show to many things on there but. Can be a good thing if you need to get a hold of someone you haven't see of just want to talk to them like family members you haven't seen in a long time.

  5. I think that facebook isnt a terrible thing but sometimes people waste to much of their time on it, and others to reveal more, what others do is what they want they make the choice.

  6. I don't know how others feel about what they reveal, but I am pretty comfortable about what can be seen of myself online. If one doesn't do anything stupid, they should have nothing to worry about.

    1. i also agree with bommer! I also enjoy facebook because thats how i talk to a lot of friends i met in the past. The only thing is some people share to much and we dont care about all of your personal life stuff.

  11. I agree with Joy. It's a great way to communicate but then again you have these young kids starting immature drama on there and using it for the wrong reasons.

  12. It doesn't surprise me that liking things can tell a lot about you, you are liking what it is saying because you like it or it applies to your life.

  13. I personally don't have a facebook. I do not need to know that much information about everyone else, and they do not need to know that much information about me. There are good things about facebook, but if you ever make a mistake the whole world can know forever.

  14. This article didn't surprise me at all. If someone likes the kentucky fried chicken and air jordan facebook pages odds are they're probably afircan american. If someone likes a pro gay rights page, they're probably gay. If someone likes the rolex, conservative, and tea party pages you know they’re probably a bush vote. All things we could determine on our own.

  15. Its not a big shocker that what we like on facebook can tell a lot about a person on just the things you like. It tells people what you intrests are.

  18. I really don't mind Facebook all that much. I enjoy seeing things that my friends are doing and it is nice to catch up with friends who i do not see very often. Any social network can be bad. Almost anything on the internet can be leaked. Facebook should be used at your own risk. It is all just a try to make more money.

    1. That's the proper way to use a social media network so kudos to you. Unfortunately, a lot of people misuse these websites and put way too much personal information about themselves and others who do not want to have it all over the internet.

  19. Facebook is a site for people to socialize. if one is truly afraid of what they put out there then either they should not be saying it or they just shouldn't have an account at all.

  22. With all the new technology some people cant hanld a real conversation they need more communication classes and teach kids in technology classes how to be safe and privet to who youdont know

  23. If MR GOML was king there would an age limit on facebook. 16 years to 50 years old. And you can only make an account with a valid drivers licence.

  24. It kind of weird that people can can predict personalities from the things people like

  25. social media has had postive and negative effects. it depends all on how the user chooses to use social media.

  26. It's not a big surprise that what you like and what you post shows your personality. I do agree that some people put waaaay too much of their personal stuff on Facebook. That is their right though.
