  1. I think most people unless they know the guy will have trouble taking time out of their "busy life's" for someone they don't know I believe we have to change this we got to help our fellow man cause when so many people doesn't do anything you know you got a problem

    1. I think it's just common sense for someone to help people out when something like that has happened. I was pretty shocked to read that no one helped the poor guy for so long.

    2. Well in all honesty it was only 40 seconds that he laid there. And it was such a busy road that I'm sure the others felt like they were risking their own lives.

  3. Honestly, if I see a body just lying in the middle of the road, and no one is reacting to it, I might have the inkling to see why there is a still body in the middle of the road. It's stupid to ignore something that was this big of an issue. Not seeing the accident is NOT an excuse.

    1. You gotta look at the big picture here. Not everyone cares. There is people belive it or not that could care less if there is a body in the middle of the road. I know right? Weird?

    2. I am looking at the big picture here, and I don't like what I see. It needs to change, and fast.

    3. It doesn't matter how big your picture is not everyone will help. Simple as that. You can't try to change everyone's mind. Its impossible.

    4. I'm not trying to change everyone's mind. You can't. Even you acknowledge that.
I said that I might curious if there is a random body lying in the middle of the street and no one is reacting to it.

You brought up "the big picture" here.

  5. I think if anyone saw someone get hit by a vehicle they'd feel like they should help that person. Especailly because it was an older person. Or at least call 911.

  6. I find it sad that noone even went near the guy or called the cops until after a cop had approched the body. What is wrong with those people? Are they really that sefl-centered?

  7. Ok so there is some jerks out there that would just flee the accident sight. We know that happens. So I'm not sure why all of you are so surprised that people didn't run out onto the very busy road within 40 seconds. There are people who just don't care. Its sad but it happens.

  9. What is wrong with people these days. No one person can take the time out of their day to help an injured man. They should all be responsible for the crime even if they weren't responsible in the first place. As for the driver he should'nt even be driving if can't see a pedestrian, hits him and then keeps driving.

  10. I read a study by a college professor. The professor had six students participate in this study although they didnt know it at the time. The professor gave two of the students 15 minutes to get to a place across the grounds and through a park, he said that tis would affect their final grade. He gave the next two 30 minutes and the last two an hour. Without telling the students he got a drama student whom his students didnt know and had him act out a random injury along the students paths. Of the six students 3 stopped to hels him. None of the students who had 15 minutes stopped to help him, 1 of the students who had 30 minutes stopped to help him and both of the students who had an hour stopped. So time is a factor and maybe people were in a rush but they still should have helped him.

  11. It does not matter if you saw the action, or have anything in common with the injured/abused/neglected. If you see that someone is in need, you should help them nomatter what the circumstance. That is what the world is today, Ignorant. No one has any selflessess anymore, its every man for himself- everyday.

  12. I think that almost everyone would like to say that they'd help but in reality, they wouldn't

  13. What this poor man had to go through was terrible. It shouldn't matter if you don't know someone and they need help, it was inhuman that people would let that happen... If you were in that situation wouldn't you want someone to help you?

  14. America constantly tells people that they need to look out for number one, themself. When another person is in trouble, that is their problem, not yours.
