  1. Wow. Just...wow.
I really have no words. To describe how stupid this sounds.
To me, this is worse than the robber in California who got stuck in the gas station he robbed because he couldn't figure out that he needed to push the door, not pull the door.
To get mad over an ad that is a parody of famous picture that is one of the key points for evolution is silly. It isn't saying "lolol creationism is wrong go away anyone who says otherwise".
I also don't like the guy who said that Dr. Pepper needs, not should but NEEDS, to apologize over this ad for the thousands "offended". Dr Pepper/Snapple Group doesn't need to anything, just because a few people get a little bit mad over an ad for some sody-pop.

  2. I think that the reaction was uncalled for. Dr. Pepper merely used a very famous picture to broadcast their product. It is only about marketing, if people can see the picture and recognize it, it adds more familiarity to the product which leads more people to buy.

  3. First of all you cant boycott Dr. Pepper because its the best and everyone will keep drinking it no matter what. Second of all creationists dont have the rights to a photo so they can get offended but thry really need to suck it up and act mature.

  4. I think that people shouldn't take it so personally. Nowhere did Dr.Pepper call anyone any sort of name or whatnot. People need to have thicker skin.

  5. this article is ridiculous. it's just an add that people took way too seriously.

  6. People need to think less about the degrading of people. If people think that its offensive that the ad portrayed us as a chimp they have problems. The picture may or may not be of "evolution" but it gets the point across.

  7. Ok if your offended by this I'm offended by your dry sense of humor. This is ridiculous to be upset about. Your all outta control if this is making you mad. Its perfectly fine and funny. Big deal if it deals with evolution. ITS FUNNY!

  9. First of all just because a company decides to use an idea or picture to advertise their product does not mean that the whole company completely believes in evolution as the way of creation. Second the picture is nothing to freak out about. And third, say evolution is real. How come we are the only species to evolve to build communities and have religion and the extreme capability to make decisions? And also isn’t it some sort of rule or theory that when things evolve they all evolve? The species doesn’t just let some remain the same. Therefore why do we have monkeys?

  10. Ok a group of idiots cant own a picture even if its like what they stand for, thats like a christian saying he owns the cross and gets man if antone uses it badly. I mean come on what are they going to do go apologize to Jesus. Suck it up. If anyone should be mad it would be the artist but he probably doesnt care. If i was an artist i would be happy if Dr. Pepper used my picture for a comercial.

  11. this is honestly stupid. There are many things on the internet that can be offensive to any person in some way or form. These people are just trying to act like high schoolers again and cause drama just to get their name out in the public eye.

  15. I found it was slightly ironic. They were offended by how Dr.Pepper was advertising, when they gained them more advertisment.
