I think it is a good idea to put some restrictions to guns, but they shouldn't ban all guns. Put yourself in a situation where there is someone trying to break into your house, and you had a firearm to protect yourself. If you wouldn't have a gun how would you have been able to protect yourself.
i think it doesn't matter if the number of gun's owner decreased. I think the problem is the type of guns. it should be laws for restrictions for that. I don't think own a gun a bad thing but it just should be restrictions for it.
You cant get rid of guns because people need to protect themselves. But we could do more extensive background checks but even then you have gun shows and the black market to get guns. So either way you can never get rid of them. The people who favor getting rid of guns altogether are dumb or have never feared some crazy person coming after you.
I think that there should be some gun control but not to completely ban all guns. People should have the right to own guns if they want to, but there should be some restrictions like felons should not be able to own a gun or mentally incapable people. Where people get they guns kill people I don't know. People kill people guns don't.
I on the other hand think that there should be less restrictions on buying a gun or obtaining a gun, it can also be a third party deal, one with nothing on their record can get a gun and sell it to someone else who dosnt have a gun and then they can go shoot up what ever they were going to, in short terms more restrictions do not make it any harder to get a gun and more shooting have not very much impact on opinion on more or less gun control
I think that they shouldn't ban guns everybody has there right to bear arms. I think that the people that own guns need to be smart with there guns, you can't just use them for stupid things. I also think that law enforcement officers need weapons to protect themselves and one of those is a gun. So I don't think that they should ban guns, I just think that certain people should not be allowed to own guns.
I think people should be able to get guns with a back round check and a waiting period than just handing someone that might be a killer or convicted of a violent crime
It is great that America is taking action to the fire arms situation by placing the restrictions on guns, they are weapons, and they can be used for the wrong reason. The restrictions are placed for safety measures, not to challenge the rights of the people. The core for both stand points of this arguments are the same, to make the community a safer place. If that requires more restriction so be it, they will not take our guns away, but they can have it were owning or purchasing a firearm is a safer for you and me.
