I'm surprised I've never heard of this before. I guess they've been using these things since the 80s, it's crazy. Yes, they probably could be dangerous if the wrong person got it, but my first thought is using 3D printing for medical use and how helpful it is by making stuff like personalized hip replacements quick and easy. Overall, it sounds good.
This is so cool! Seriously, how smart do you have to be to not only come up with something like that but to actually make it work? I'm blown away! I agree with GreenMan that this could be really useful in the medical field.
So I think everyone can agree that this 3D Printer has its advantages and disadvantages. Yes, criminals COULD get a hold on one and do whatever such things with it, where it could also benefit when it comes to saving money by just having an item that you previously bought and just copy it.
Pretty cool but just wait till criminals get a hold of this thing. then just think how much trouble we all are in.
