I think that it is sad that people would not want to join to defend our country, but at the same time I would also understand why people would not. We really need people to be fighting in the war to protect this country especially from ISIL. I think that if we have people in the war and as long as we can keep this country safe that is all that matters. I think that right now we are fine. But towards the future I believe that is when we should start worrying! I believe that the U.S. has the power to keep the United States safe!

I think that at this time we are okay where we are with our army, but in the near future we are going to need more people to join. I feel that in the future that we are going to need to defend our country greatly, until then I think that our country is doing okay with how many people we do have in the military. I think that other countries are getting stronger by the year so that is why we are going to be needing people and are also going to struggle with people joining. There are a lot of reasons mentally and physically why people can't join but the people that can and want to I have a lot of respect for them for doing everything they can for our county.
I understand that people don't wanna risk their life when they go overseas, but they should at least find the courage enough to go and at least get the training just in case something were to happen such as another World War. Another thing is If people just thought about other people around the country other than themselves we would probably be smart enough to at least think about enlisting in any form of military.
It is disappointing to know that there are fewer volunteers, there are countries that are rising in power. with that said i feel strongly in encouraging our nation into considering military contemporary to fill in the gap of military personal.
