  1. I think it is a good idea in case that person tries to use it illegally they can be found guilty.

    1. wouldn't this be the same argument for registering guns?

    2. No, this argument can be more easily compared to vehicle registration. The way a drone can be used for illegible purposes is the transportation of contraband items or interfering with restricted areas.

  3. I think they probably should register them because they can be used for many unintended things.

  6. I think that registering these drones is a good idea. With the drones people can do things that are not legal and if they are able to identify who's drone is who's that would be better off! It's just like the article stated that if a hobbyist can afford to operate one drone and some of them can operate more then one drone, then they will be able to pay five dollars!

  7. I don't really understand why they are wanting them to register their drones. The only reason I could think of is if they are doing something illegal with them, in that case I think it would be a good idea. The reason I think it would be a good idea is so that we can punish those who are using them for the wrong reasons and we can prevent future complications or disaster that could happen. People could find a lot of unintended uses for the drones which could be a really bad thing.

  8. I understand how that could be a good idea for people to register to use drones, but couldn't people just get a fake I.d. to use the drone. If the person had been caught flying when they aren't supposed to, how would they be able to find them if they had used a fake I.D.

  10. This is good idea not just for the FAA but also for the hobbyist. The FAA can track the vast movement and trace the drone back to the owner if they are abusing their toy. If the hobbyist have a drone that is stolen or lost it can tracked back to them by there registration number.
