What is Sociology?

What is Sociology? This class that you are in must be important enough that we have included it in your education at ACGC. I you are going on to a junior college or a university after you graduate, chances are you will take a Sociology class. So it must be important right? What do you think the purpose of Sociology is? How do you think it will help you later in life? Or maybe it won't.?.

    Sociology is immensely important because it teaches us that our decisions as individuals matter especially with our everyday lives. We learn sociology so we can be more educated in our decisions everyday

    I think the purpose of sociology is to gain understanding of why humans behave the way they do. I would hope that it will help me a lot later in life through the understanding of human emotions that I gain.

    the only thing that this class will tell me in my view is the diffences between human, and ware they live and the things that effect them in there lives determin how they tern out and how they will effect other people in there sociol groups.

    Sociology is the study of people and how they came to be what they are, how they react with other people, basically it's all about people. I think that it is very important to learn about Sociology. We interact with people every day so we should learn about how our interactions affect others. We should also learn about how these things came about and why we do certain things that we do.

    I think with this Binge Drinking has to do either with kids stressed out in college or wither want to be like the rest and drink with them.

    i think sociology is learning how to communicate with others, also i think it has to do with learning about other cultures and how they affect others.

    Sociology is basically the class the now explains why we as students acted the way we did in our earlier years. Like who we sit by, talk to, and play with. It should by a class where we can learn a bit more about our self.

    the class sociology is in place to educate us on the diffident biodiversity of culture that we are surrounded bye so we are able to accepted and maybe even inheritate some of there culture.

    It is important because it helps us to understand why we are the way we are and why we make the decisions that we do. If we can better understand the people in our society we can interact better with them and make changes that will help the society.
