  1. I found it very surprising that younger children became more selfish after a natural disaster while older children became more charitable. It does make sense though that our basic survival instincts really kick in less mature brains.

  3. i think certain situation in witch a child is involved that is in anyway traumatizing at a young age of course it will affect them. at that age they are at the age in witch they need a solid family and be able to go to school and get his platform for the rest of his life.

  5. I agree with Jesse. Any situation is traumatizing to a kid at a young age because that's when they take things in. They are like a sponge.

  6. Children these days grow up seeing a lot of disasters and tradegy than people before them, so they grow up used to it. People our age didn't grow up with that so we will probably help out more because it is a bit more foreign to us.

  7. I think the older children have a better understanding of what other people are going through. They want to share more because they know what the other children are going through and they want to help.
