I think in the long run college does pay off. However, it depends on your level of intelligence. You have to smart enough and willing enough to apply yourself in and out of the classroom to ensure you get the most out of your expensive education so you can graduate and find a good job in order to pay back your students loans.
I don't think these degrees are really worth the investment because they are way too underpaid. Fine arts degrees are kind of silly to me. Art is more of a hobby unless you're Picasso.
I think college does pay off but I agree with Peasant Pete...it depends on your level of intelligence and how hard your are willing to work to make sure it does pay off.
I agree with curious collin. A lot of people make a lot of money and don't have a college degree at all. I also agree with Steve Jewbs that the jobs that are helpful in society are the jobs that don't pay well. That's weird because they seem like a necessary part of society.

ReplyDeleteIt's weird to me that all of these jobs that help benefit society so much don't get paid more for their hard work.
ReplyDeleteI think college surely pays for itself in the long run, but it can be verry easy to suceed in life with out going to college at all.

ReplyDeleteYou would think that most, if not, all jobs would payoff or there wouldnt be hardly anyone in that area.
