In my opinion, professional athletes should know better. There are fans that look up to and admire them. And just because the person doesn't seem to care that you are verbally antagonizing them, does not mean it doesn't hurt them.
I think both Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin made mistakes. It sounds like Richie Incognito went too far on Martin. But in my opinion Jonathan Martin made a selfish move by leaving the team during the season. Richie may have bullied him a little too much. But if you want to make it in the NFL you need to have thick skin and ignore all negative comments.

i agree with Dane, if you are a pro football player that means you have kids looking up to you and wanting to be you. so if you are bullying what are you teaching those kids?
Johnathan martian was baby case and point. Incognito didnt do anything wrong, i think he was just messing around with martin and i dont what his deal was cause he came out and said it was a lie and everyone said they were best friends. Martin just betrayed his friend thats all
