As a student at ACGC, is it hard to move from one group to another? We all get labeled, does that label dictate your social status or does you social status determine you label? Once you are labeled can you change your social status identity?
After living in a much larger city, I've noticed our school is very different than most and we don't have strict divisions between groups. Sports, music, drama, and academics are mixed in our school.
i think u hang with the people that like doing same stuff as u it is easyer to get along with them better and the people that hate doing wut u do u two will just hate each other
yes it is easy to get along with everyone and talk to pretty much anyone but once you are labled i thing it kind of sticks with you. Just because hang out with diffrent people or talk to different people dosnt mean your lable goes away.
i have never really moved to a group. im a drifter and hang wit my main buddies but talk wit all. i dont care about labels unless you are a teachers pet and get a break on every thing
@Terry Singsank Alright alright alright, im feeling dis, and I BELIEVE that you can(just like I done did say in anotha post) that you can try and affixiate yoself, BELIEVE
i think its easy to move from one group to another, people might look at you different but if that's what you want and are willing to change then go ahead and do it.
I think that if someone goes from gorup then more people know them, they might just want to have a lot of friends, but people might judge the person because they might not know tham.
at acgc i dont think we have strict groups that differ us. we may just not like certain people and avoid them. but when it comes to it acgc is pretty close

ReplyDelete@zebra19 i would have to agree, coming from a different school i loved that it was easy to get along with a variety of people for the most part.

ReplyDeleteDoes the size of the population matter when it comes to social status?
ReplyDeleteI think it's important though to have one really supportive group that will always be there for you rather than having countless acquaintances.
ReplyDelete@Terry Singsank i think it does because in a large community your less likely to be noticed by everyone let alone the big shots.

ReplyDeletei agree. the more people their is around you the less you really know about them and the more people tend to lable.
