Social status

As a student at ACGC, is it hard to move from one group to another? We all get labeled, does that label dictate your social status or does you social status determine you label? Once you are labeled can you change your social status identity?

  1. I think that it is easy to move from one group to another. You can change and start hanging out with a different group of people.

  2. After living in a much larger city, I've noticed our school is very different than most and we don't have strict divisions between groups. Sports, music, drama, and academics are mixed in our school.

  5. yes it is easy to get along with everyone and talk to pretty much anyone but once you are labled i thing it kind of sticks with you. Just because hang out with diffrent people or talk to different people dosnt mean your lable goes away.

  10. Does the size of the population matter when it comes to social status?

  11. I think it's important though to have one really supportive group that will always be there for you rather than having countless acquaintances.

  12. @Terry Singsank i think it does because in a large community your less likely to be noticed by everyone let alone the big shots.

  17. I think that if someone goes from gorup then more people know them, they might just want to have a lot of friends, but people might judge the person because they might not know tham.
