  1. I think it's a terrible idea to stop hosting refugees! And if we do, we should be more hosting and help them to integrate the society. The problem is that if we don't help them and if we keep being racist, they're gonna hate occidental people and go to fight with ISIS. People who are fighting with ISIS are mostly people who were lost in the society because they weren't accepted and some people came to them and said they had a solution for them. They're attracting them to a bad part of Islam and send them to the middle East.

  2. I think that to protect our country we need to go back to having everything that we do monitored. Not everyone is going to agree with this. I don't, but what can we do? Would you rather have the US full of terrorists getting away with crimes and blowing up things like big event centers or the capitals of states or having everything we do be monitored. Maybe if we do have everything monitored we will be catching a lot more people doing bad or illegal thing along with terrorists. I also believe that big event centers and airports should have a lot more security. They should be being more careful with checking peoples things as they come in and maybe even patting people down. We need to be careful with everything going on the world right now.

  3. I don't think we should, because its like welcoming them into our country and act like everything is okay. The only way I think it would be okay for them to come here if everyone gave up there privacy to prevent bombings or mass shootings

  4. I can understand both parts of this argument, the fact that we should stop taking refugees and the other to uphold our nations morals. In 1980 the United States open there borders into accepting refugees from Cuba. A large portion of the refugees that came were released from jail and mental institutions, because of this caused a large wave of crime that had spread like a disease. On the other hand the hand, the hand I agree with, is that we should uphold our nations morals of protecting the ones in need. They are fleeing men, women, and children that are trying to escape the boot of terrorism that is placed so firmly above them, and in this time, we need to show the world that we will not abandon our morals, that we will protect the ones in need, and that we do not fear there threats.

  6. i wouldn't let them in just for the fact that many of them can be terrorist looking just like the refugees that are coming because there looking for somewhere to settle but i couldn't take the chance of hurting people who have done nothing

  8. I agree entirely. There are some people that think all Syrians are terrorists, the government shouldn't be the ones deciding whether or not they want to take in refugees or not. Instead it should be a vote, kinda like elections, to see if people want to do the right thing and let those poor people into our nation.
