Personally, I drink quite a bit of coffee, but I've never been a fan of energy drinks. I can see how energy drinks can be considered poison because of the huge amount of caffeine in them. I feel as though there should be more regulations on children or teens who drink energy drinks.
What I don't understand is, if the cases that were recorded about energy drinks hurting younger kids, why are the parents still allowing there kids to drink and buy energy drinks?
They are so bad for you, I don't see how they are still aloud to sell them, that being said. I have drank them and I enjoy them, please keep selling them.
kids under 6 should not be consuming energy drinks and if you have a child under 6 you shouldnt keep energy drinks in there reach, if these drinks are causing brain problems thats a serious matter, more should be done to inform kids on the risk of highly caffeinated beverages
I agree that there should definitely be stronger regulations on who is allowed to consume energy drinks. We also have to draw a line on how invasive we want the regulations to be. I mean I would not enjoy being told what I can and cannot drink.

ReplyDeletePlain black coffee has more, if not the same, amount of caffeine in 8 fl oz than most, if not all, energy drinks sold in the U.S., legally.

ReplyDeleteI can see how energy drinks can pose a problem for kids. Energy drinks should have more restrictions with the mega dose of caffeine that is in them.
