I think schools should be more strict about their sexual misconduct rules. Parents shouldn't have to worry about their children going to school, and whether or not they're going to get sexually harassed.
That is a crazy amount of numbers that were brought up and those were just the reported ones. Its crazy to think some go without saying anything at all and some cant be proven. In a way it might be a good idea to get cameras in the classroom but the probably violates some privacy law. I hope this stops and people start to get their heads on straight.
I think it is pathetic on how many reports there have been on educators. I feel it is scary on how they can still teach again after they get into trouble once.
The article states that a student involved in these actions feel in love. This seems more directed to females who are assaulted, while on the male side they may accept it as a "reward" or "accomplishment." Either way it is a crime that is typically under punished by states.
