in todays society its like "slutty" is veiwed as sexy. what ever happened to the "sexy" from the 50s and 60s. now its allskin and inappropriate behaviors. women are expected to be "sluts" persay. and this probably makes no sense what so ever!
There's tons of fake people out there in the celebrity world, it's always going to be like that. We need to ignore those influences if we want a healthy lifestyle.
So many people think they just need to impress guys so they will dress slutty to get attention. What is society coming to? No one can be themselves these days everyone puts on a show to get attention.
The media has changed society's perception of what is healthy. To many of our young people look at celebrities, models and professional athletes as role models. This skews pop culture's perception of what a good role model and healthy life style is. The question is do we as a society mimic media or is media just window on society?
I believe many times people don't feel liek they have a choice of having those bad lifestyles for role models when that's what media is pushing out there. Too many people are falling through the cracks because of it.
Most people are trying to fit in with whats going on with fashion and sports. Some people believe there bodies need to be like models, which is mostly super unhealthy. People these days don't stick with that they believe in and want to be someone else.
I think that some people do know how to stay away from trying to be like everyone else. They know how to stick to what they think is right and what they beleive in. But by being around all of these things, they start to like what they see and they want thier life to be like that even if it changes who they are entirely.
Yes i understand that, but that makes most people to be the same. When everyones the same lifes kind of boring. I understand people will change fashion and some things as times change, but that doens't mean you should change your personality or how you are in life.
People do get caught up in being young and wanting to fit in. they get lost along the way and forget who they really are as a person. which really effects them in the long run.
Yes, cause they look back to there past and wish they could of changed things or repuations. It's really sad to see people change and loose who they really are.
If the media were to put out healthier lifestyle role models I think it would catch on and kids, teens, or however could potentially avoid the current problems they face due to poor role models.
I think that people are to concerned about how other people think of them so they try and dress and act a certain way when in all reality they should just try being them selfs because that is all that matters. Its not what you look like. who u hang out with, or how your dressed its really about who you are as a person!
I see alot of kids try to be who they see on tv and people around them they look up to, and many are bad influences. They want to be someone there not when they should be the person they are within. Kids need to be who they really are, not what they want to be, you can't change who you really are.
Kids will only be who they really are when they realized that, it is the only thing that matters they wont just be like oh yeah.. im just gonig ot be who i realy an without some sort of lesson they learned.
