woman cant do everything a man can do!.. its scientifically proven that woman do not have the same amount of strength and stanima as men.. and that goes a long way on the battle field
I think a main issue with allowing women to be in combat is the draft concerns. I believe women should be allowed to participate in combat, but they should also be a part of the drafting process if we ever need it again. You can't get the best of both worlds.
i have a problem with a few things about this such as where would the woman bunk? because much a soldiers life is based on the trust?friendship they have with there squad and this obtained by living eating breathing and fighting together and if you do that with the woman and make a coed bunk then what about rape and stuff.... the other problem i have is what about the draft?? can woman get drafted? should they? i think that they should be able to get drafted because if you want to be equal to men you have to have the bad things that come with it
I think that this is great! but the only thing is that who would want to see a dead women on the combat field that just died for our nation. i meen that just not right.
Men and women should be treated equal but men are more capable to serve in compat than most women, if women are capable then they should be able to serve in combat
There are a few things that are wrong with this 1st can woman be drafted 2nd how are we as a nation going to react when the first woman dies in combat, we tend to overreact about things like that 3rd where will they bunk. 1..if woman can serve in combat then they can be drafted because if woman want equality then they can have the bad part of it to. 2nd.. the nation tends to over react on plenty of issues and are soldiers dying in combat is on the list but how will we respond when the first woman dies? well we regard our boys as heros will we do the same for our woman? and 3rd military life is based on a bond especailly the squad they eat sleep and fight together but when you put a woman in there do they bunk with the guys so they can get that bond or will they be bunked some where else in hope that the bond will form
Men, teens, women, ladies... They all should be able to serve their country as they please. Although I agree with Robert that there are some men can do, Having more people serving in the army will always be a good thing. And will hopefully prepare us for North Korea.
also i believe there should be guide lines. say this women is married to anoughter army member and they have a small family only on of them should be aloud to go over seas at a time.
It's a good idea because women that wanna be a high ranking officer they will have that ability now because they can go into combat to earn a higher ranking
