  1. Family: Christmas is not about presants, you can go without and christmas would still be special. Spending time with family to celebrate.
    Mass Media: Presents Presents Presents.
Religion: Christmas is Christ being born, its a time to celebate him.
School: Christmas is whatever you want it to be, but we cant celebrate it in school.
Family and Mass Media go against eachother, i tend to listen to family.

  5. Some of these key points have taught me that the only thing important about holidays is spending money on stupid and rediculous things. But some have also showed me the true meaning of holidays and why they are important.

  7. One side has taught me that chrismas is presents and more stuff. The other side has shown me its way more than that.
More things will never make you happy, so invest in the people that do.

  8. Family: My family taught me that it is more then just gifts, it about spending moments with each other.
Culture: A great big get together with my whole family/extended family!
Friends: A great time to surprise one another with gifts.
School: A day that Santa comes and brings gifts.
Religion: It is about the day Christ was born.
Government: Spending money on presents and spending money on your gas.
Mass Media: Buying expensive gifts for everyone. The more money the better!

I would have to say religion and mess media are 2 conflicting views, one is about Jesus being born and that to have family is special, where media it is all about substance.

  10. Family taught me that just being there all that matters instead of gifts. Religion has to me that Christmas is about Jesus is being born, and Mass Media has taught me to buy, buy, and buy gifts. The better quality the gift is the better the person is gunna like it.

  11. family has taught me how important family is. Culture has taught me about Jesus, God, and Santa. Friends taught me how much I like giving gifts and school has taught me more about santa. Religion taught me why we even have Christmas. Media made me see how much Christmas is advertised. And over time I've learned how good Christmas is for the economy.

  13. For the most part, I've learned that it's a season of giving. However, from the media I get the impression that it's a season of spending. Large companies are flooding the TVs with commercials showing huge spending trips and the latest new gadgets that we "need to have"

  21. family has taught me that it is important to all be together during Christmas because it is a celebration and you should be with loved ones on this day. My friends are a lot like my family, good to be with on a holiday to celebrate with. School has taught me that Christmas is not Christmas. Someone might not believe in Christ and Christmas therefor we must not offend them and celebrate it, instead we offend everyone else who believes in it by not allowing us to celebrate it. Mass media has taught me all Christmas is is a time for presents and being selfish and getting good deals on new smart phones and cars for myslef. Religion has taught me the real meaning behind Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus
