would you really want to know though? Would you really want to know that your kid was going to definitely get cancer and potentially die of something that you have no control over?
It's a scary proposition. In fact, it is 2spooky 4me. But in all seriousness, this could be useful. If someone knows that they might have a rather dangerous disease, the family could prepare for it and potentially get rid of the disease if the disease could be gotten rid of.
Personally I dont care if they can diagnoss people as infants about future dieseases. I really don't think its something to rely on, and I for one would not want to be wasteing valuble time and money on something that I might not need anyway.
If i was a parent i wouldnt want to know if my child was gunna have cancer, because then i would always be wondering when and i would enjoy life as much because i would always be wondering and worrying and being way to careful and not letting the kid be a kid.
this is so hard to answer the perfect way yes i would want them to know to have a good time while they still can. but yet i won't want them to because they would be sad and upset. but if it ran in my family i would want to know.
I honestly would not want to know, i just wouldnt want to worry about it all the time.. so if we just waited and see if they would have cancer or not then you can deal with it from there.
I don't thing i would want to know that
ReplyDeleteLet time do its work. If they get it, its not their fault. It was someone in your family history that had it first. it just got passed down

It could be useful, but would you want to always have the knowledge that you WILL get cancer hanging over your head?
DeleteNobody would know if someone will develop cancer while it's still a baby. That's something that would happen later on.
ReplyDeleteI understand the importance of early diagnosis, but I wouldn't want to live under a dark cloud my whole life just waiting to get sick.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with what you said. If you find out a disease you could just be creating a bigger deal rather than waiting for it to happen.
DeleteI think it would be beneficial for people who have a family history with cancer, but people who do not have this history don't really need it.

ReplyDeletethats got to be one of the worst things ever....imagine being pregnant for 9 months worring about the health of your unborn child
ReplyDeletei would want to know because then you can make the life of that kid the best it can be and give him or her the life they deserve
