  3. It's not surprising that white males are favored over everyone else because white males have always been favored. I am a little bit surprised that the Asians are the most discriminated against because usually they are very intelligent and good students.

  4. I'm not surprised that these professors focus on white males because most of them are white males. And if they see themselves in this white male then they would be more inclined to help them.

  5. it is surprising to see that this level of disparity still exist in America, especially in education. from the news we are lead to believe all of the sexism is in the area of jobs and wages, not so much education.
